About TNAADO Travel
TNAADO Travel shows live wait times at U.S.–Canada and U.S.–Mexico land border crossings, using the public feeds of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). It is published by TNAADO Inc. in Toronto.
What this site is
- A reader for official public data: we show what the agencies report, with the time they reported it.
- A recorder: we also store each reading so we can show typical waits by weekday and hour once enough history exists.
- A set of calculators built only from figures copied from official pages, each with its source and the date we read it.
What this site is not
- Not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by CBP, the CBSA, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security or any government. We do not use agency logos or seals.
- Not a prediction. A wait is an agency estimate when it last reported. It can be late or wrong, and it changes in minutes.
- Not legal or immigration advice. Check the official source and posted signs before you travel.
How fresh is the data?
Every figure carries the agency’s own report time. Over 30 minutes old turns amber; over 90 minutes we hide the number and say so. We never smooth or extrapolate a live reading.
Data sources and licences
U.S. CBP Border Wait Times (public data) and the CBSA Border Wait Times feed, which is used under the Open Government Licence - Canada. Travel advisories come from the U.S. Department of State and Global Affairs Canada; airport status from the FAA. Pre-2020 hourly patterns for Canada-bound waits come from the CBSA’s published historical data and are labelled as pre-2020.
